Entertaiment is a fun restaurant with great food and entertainment. It comes from the Middle French entretenement, which is based on the Latin intertenere, from tenere, meaning to hold inside.
The word entertains evokes amusement and fun, although many forms of entertainment may have a serious purpose – for example, ritual, celebration or religious festival, satire or political protest. Entertainment also evolves, adapted for different audiences and occasions: the Persian professional storytelling tradition of Scheherazade inspired composers such as Rimsky-Korsakov, Ravel and Szymanowski to write orchestral music; director Pasolini made a film adaptation; and innovative video games have been inspired by the story.
